4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI)

The Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) or Safe Driving Accident Prevention Program (SDAPP) courses are offered to students that have received a moving violation in the State of Florida and want to take the course to keep the points off their Drivers License.

This course is available via the Classroom, Video and Online Internet Course.

4 Hour Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE)

The traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE), or Drug, Alcohol and Traffic Awareness (DATA) or Alcohol, Drug, Accident Prevention Training (ADAPT) courses are offered to students that want to get their Restricted License. This course is required before you can take the DMV Permit Test. This course has proven to reduce teen accidents by 40%. After a student successfully completes this course they can take the DMV Permit Test.

This course is available via the Classroom and the Online Internet Course.

DMV Permit Test

The DMV Permit Test is a new test that the DHSMV has allowed Crossroads Traffic Academy (through American Safety Institute) to offer online to our customers that have successfully completed the TLSAE Course (also known as ADAPT). After students have successfully completed the TLSAE course they will have the option to sign up and take the DMV Permit Test Online.

This course is available online only with the TLSAE course.

Course Cost - $20.00

4 Hour Insurance Discount

This course is offered to students that want to receive insurance discounts per Florida Statute. Students would need to contact their Insurance Company to verify if they would need a 4-Hour Course or the 6-Hour Mature Driver Course.

This course is available via the classroom.

Course Cost - $35.00

6 Hour Mature Driver

The Mature Driver course is offered to students that are 55 and older and want to receive a mandatory 3-year insurance discount per Florida Statutes. Students that take this course can take their certificate to their insurance company and receive a guaranteed 3-year insurance discount.

8 Hour Class

The 8-Hour course is offered to students ordered usually by the Court for an 8-Hour Basic Driver Improvement Class, 8-Hour Aggressive Driver Class, 8-Hour Driving While Your License is Suspended, Revoked License Class or 8-Hour Advanced Driver Course.

This course is available via the classroom and the Online Internet Course.

Course Cost  - $70.00 (Classroom) and $75.00 (Online)

12 Hour Class

The 12-Hour Course is offered to students that need to satisfy a court or DHSMV requirement in order to obtain their license. This course is also geared towards the habitual offender. The DHSMV may require the student to verify that they are enrolled in a 12-Hour Class.

If so, complete the enrollment form and we will fax, email or mail the completed form to you with our endorsement.  You must pay in advance for the endorsed Enrollment Form.  There are no refunds and if you need to reschedule the course, there is a rescheduling fee.
